Matt Chancey (32) is a communications and marketing specialist in Chelsea. He was born in Enterprise, Alabama and raised in the Wiregrass. At 19, Matt moved to the Washington, DC, metro area to work in public policy. For many years, Matt fought for family issues, including parental rights legislation, protection of our 2nd Amendment rights, school choice, and the right to work. Matt has also fought all tax increase schemes at every level of government and strongly opposes annual real estate tax appraisals in Alabama.
Matt and his wife Jennie have been small business owners for more than 10 years.
In addition to political and business activities, Matt has also been active in Christian missionary work, serving as a founding board member of the Persecution Project Foundation, a ministry serving the persecuted church in Africa.
Matt, Jennie, and their children attend Reformed Family Fellowship Church in Chelsea.
